SPECIFIC SPORTS TRAINING WITH THE "POWER SUIT"
In the sport of track and field speed is the key to your success. To assist in improving your speed you need to incorporate the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) into your on-field drills, conditioning and speed programs. Begin by looking at your starting form. Before the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) it would be difficult to create resistance in your start without changing the biomechanical movements and disrupting your form. Use the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) while doing your starting position work without this issue being a concern. Remember to always re-run your drills and work program without the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) on to measure your progress.
 
Secondly, look at your speed. You will need to strengthen you gluts and hamstrings to improve your stride length. You can use the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) while doing any and all exercises to strengthen your gluts and hamstrings. Lastly, the final factor in speed is your stride rate. Use the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) when running your quick foot drills and the resistance training will improve your stride rate. Use all three phases of speed progression for your training and conditioning and then run your sprints without the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) and see your acceleration and speed be greatly enhanced.
 
If you are a long distance runner the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) will be of benefit to you. Use the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) during your conditioning and training programs. You will get the optimal benefit by adding resistance at 3 to 7 percent of you body weight. Re-do your drills without the suit on and see how your endurance and strength has improved allowing you to perform at a higher level of fitness making winning just a stone throw away.
