SPECIFIC SPORTS TRAINING WITH THE "POWER SUIT"
Hockey has the longest season of all sports and if you take into consideration the length of the game; you must start and maintain a functional conditioning program. The "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) will help you attain and maintain a high level of conditioning.
 
The unique design of the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) allows for gradual weight increase increments that will allow you to progress in your conditioning over an extended period of time. Use the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) when doing your line drills with light, medium or heavy loads depending on your goals for that training session. Remove the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) and repeat the same drill to measure your progress. You will find that you will have more cardiovascular endurance and leg power.
 
To improve your lateral strength, run your alternating drills with the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) on. The ability to explode in a straight line, even though you are pushing laterally with the blade of the skate is very important. Resistance training with the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) trains the brain to work as if you have the added weight on when it really isn’t. Use this explosive lateral power to break away from your defensive opponent.
 
Want to be like "flash" on your breakaways??? Run your speed drills with the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts). You will find that with continued use of the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) you will become quicker, more agile and generally better conditioned.
