SPECIFIC SPORTS TRAINING WITH THE "POWER SUIT"
 Basketball is a fairly long season so to get and stay in top condition it is important to start and maintain a good exercise program. The "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) can and will take your fitness to the next level. No matter which position you play, whether guard, forward or center, the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) can enhance your performance.
Wearing the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) trains your brain to think that you are heavier that your actual weight. Once the suit is removed you show your body how it can work at a quicker rate now that you don’t have the resistance of added weight against your body. This will lead to your muscles moving and reacting faster and stronger.
Of particular interest would be increasing your vertical jumping and sprinting strength. Increase the power, strength and endurance of your quadriceps and hamstrings by doing the following drills with the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) on. Running stairs, skipping, squats, lunges and defensive shuffle. Running lines and suicides with the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) on will improve your speed and agility.
Upper body strengthening can be attained by doing your shooting and rebounding drills with the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) on. Ball handling drills done with the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) will make you faster and stronger on the ball making it a real challenge for your opponent to knock you off the ball. Remember to re-run your drills without the suit to measure your progress.
The strategically placed pockets in the vest and shorts allows you to customize your workout to target certain muscle groups with either a light, medium or heavy weight load. An added physical bonus while wearing the "POWERSUIT" (vest and/or shorts) is increased core strength and stability and increased cardiovascular training.
