When can I expect to see results?
In the short term you can see results immediately. This can be achieved by doing your workout with the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) on and then repeating the same workout without the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts). You will find that you are faster and stronger. In the long term, you will attain increased strength, power and endurance if the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) is used over a period of time and to sustain these results you will need to use the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) on a regular basis.
 
Can the POWERSUIT help me lose weight?
If you're interest is weight lose then the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) can assist in your weight reduction goal. It is a known fact that muscle burns more calories than fat. The POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) adds weight to your body and this added weight will intensify your activity, in return you will burn more calories in that same activity. In simple terms; you are creating more resistance causing your muscles to work harder and burn more calories.
 
How does the POWERSUIT fit my body type?
The POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) has a custom cut for both men and women for both the vest and the shorts. It is form fitting and comes in a full range of sizes from small to extra large.
 
What age can you start using the POWERSUIT?
The rule of thumb is if you are 15 years of age or younger it is not recommended that you use the weighted vest and/or shorts. It is recommended that you concentrate on form, technique and fundamentals using your own body weight. Once you have developed strong fundamentals then you can progress to resistance training. There are some exceptions. Contact your sales representative for further information.
 
What weight do I start with?
It depends on the exercise you are doing and your fitness condition. As for all exercise it is recommended that you start off slowly using very light weights and gradually build up. Our 4.5 ounce bars makes this easy. We suggest that you wear the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) without any weights for a week of workouts and then gradually add the 4.5 ounce bars in the strategically placed pockets. When using the shorts start off with the top row of pockets and progress to the bottom. When using the vest start off with light weight in each muscles grouping and work up to more weight. Keep in mind that you want to train not “strain”.
 
Could the POWERSUIT benefit female athletes?
Absolutely. Women can use and get great results from using the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) the same way men can. Please note that whether you are a male or female athlete, proper fitting and use of appropriate weight is the key to success. We have customized fit POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) for men and women.
 
Do you ship overseas…Canada, Europe, Asia?
Yes, we have the capability to ship everywhere. Whether as far away as Hong Kong or just around the corner shipping the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) is possible. We have shipped to Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Germany and throughout Canada and the United States.
 
I'm in amateur sports...how will it help me?
As an athlete you know and appreciate the importance of speed, quickness, strength, power and endurance. The POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) can and will improve all these attributes. Resistance training will over time increase these attributes and this is the type of training you will do with the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts). If you want me to be more specific please send me a more detailed question.
 
Can I use it for swimming?
Yes. The unique Stomatex fabric that the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) is made of is usable in water.
 
Can I use it in my aerobic class or any group exercise?
Many people are using the POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) in group aerobics such as step, spinning and boxing classes. It will intensify your workout and take your body to the next level.
 
I'm already overweight...why would I need to put on a vest to help me lose weight?
Weight is lost by burning more calories than you eat. Being overweight is a problem that at lot of people face and by adding more weight to your core you burn more calories. Your body adjusts to your weight and burns calories to support numerous functions of your body. One of these functions is muscle movement and it is known fact that muscle burns more calories than fat. The POWERSUIT (vest and/or shorts) will help you burn more calories as well as firm up your muscles.
